Once the cc troops are killed off it’s time to drop the golems. The further away you can initially lure the cc troops from buildings the better.ģ.

Another thing you want to be careful of is to not drop too close to any building or you may target that instead of the cc troops you need to kill off. You’ll usually want to circle them rather than dropping in a small area as some of their cc troops (wizards, dragons, valkyrie, etc) will do splash damage and can take out all of your archers in just a couple swift hits if they’re too close together. I used about 3 (dropping one at a time as far into the corner as possible) to lure them all over and the remainder to kill them off. In this example, I started out with 28 archers. Once your giants have absorbed enough hits to draw out the entire cc of it’s troops, you’ll want to lure them all over to a corner, where you can take them out without getting hit by defensive buildings or heroes. In this example, I used 2 giants, and I released them about 4 seconds apart in case the first one ran into a trap, which it did (giant bomb).Ģ.

The defensive building that’s furthest within the cc boundary is the one you’ll be targeting with your giants. Scout the base you’ll be attacking and click on the clan castle (cc) to see where it’s boundaries reach. Depending on how strong the defensive buildings are on the outside layer of the base, you’ll want either 2 or 3 giants to lure out the clan castle troops. In this example, there were only 2 layers of walls to the TH, and there were no inferno towers, so I decided to bring 6 wall breakers and 4 heal spells rather than 3 wall breakers, 3 heal spells and a jump spell.Īnyways, here’s the breakdown, and an explanation of exactly what each troop type is doing throughout the process…ġ. Depending on a few different factors… like how many layers of walls to the compartment housing the TH, are there inferno towers along the way, etc… your troop setup may vary slightly. In this example of how to GoWiPe, I’m using a troop setup for a TH9 base I attacked in a recent war.
